Healthy Eating Isn’t so Bad – Simple Tips & Tricks on Weight Loss

Hello all! I haven't had much time to update the blog as the web development business, and interesting, yet-to-be-announced ventures, are keeping me busy.

Like with most people in business, I try to keep an eye out for ways to better myself. Well, I was getting fat. Yup, not chubby, fat. Most people are willing to do business more-so with an attractive person. The fat wasn't helping the business so it had to go. (... and it keeps shedding...)

As time is short, here is a write up on how I have lost over 50lbs so far. I had to buy new pants, new suits and new belts as my old clothes wouldn't fit me anymore. Mind you, I wasn't morbidly obese, but I was getting fat. Working at a computer 50% of the time does not make for a fit person. These might seem rather obvious, but we all need a reminder now and then.

Simple Tips & Tricks on Weight Loss

No Colas, or Surgery Sodas

Replace with lemon lime soda water.

No Fast Food

Go search for "X nutrition information" where X is either a fast food restaurant or a specific item. Be prepared to be horrified.

The Low Carb Diet Really Works.

Exercise.

Even a little biking or walk around a few blocks is better than nothing.

It's Okay to Sometimes "Cheat"

While I do try to watch what I eat, occasional cheating is fine. I still have the occasional Sierra Mist or order a pizza. It's okay to spoil yourself sometimes, just keep it in check.

Give Your Body a Few Months

It will take a few months to notice visual results.

Ditch the Scale

Personally, I never had a scale in the house. I'm weighed at the doctors and that's good for enough me. At the time, I didn't need a daily reminder teasing me about my weight.
